It was a good few weeks 'off'.

I dare you to read it all! lol

Here's something I've realized that I think some of you might want to think about. Maybe I'm not bonkers after all.

dA is an art and a business community. That makes sense and is the way it ought to be. But what has happened within it. The atmosphere has become so business-like and the competition has gotten fierce[r].

Groups seem to have their advantages and disadvantages. Here, in my personal account I once mentioned the Link System. It was just an idea. It still is, but in the form of a SUPERGROUP. Having dALinkSystem has so many advantages. Exposing the idea has become more effective. We are able to help a little more I believe.

Then slowly 'deals' needed to be made. It no longer became an idea I wanted to encourage us to try. It became a product that I had to sell to people, to other Groups. I was uncomfortable approaching it that way but I knew that a little symbiosis was going to be necessary.

That give and take became a competition for many things. People want[ed] things from us. We wanted things from them. I started having to 'wheel and deal'. It finally got to a point where relationships started getting a little fragile. I know for a fact that I am not the only Group Founder who has noticed this.

And what happened to just surfing dA, looking at good art, tutorials, features, making friends etc. I joined over a year ago and these things are changing. I see it. Other than reasons in my own 3D world, these were the factors on dA that made me step back for a while. And believe it or not, the one thing that has rejuvenated me is doing just that: enjoying art around dA and not giving a about these other distractions. So I collected what I felt are beautiful works and started featuring them. No mention of my Group. No mention of anything other than the reasons to enjoy the art.

Please do that for a bit. I'm sharing these with you because I think you'll enjoy them. Many of you have already given them a look and maybe even appreciated them. Breathe and just enjoy all the work in these articles. I couldn't give a about you faving the article or anything like that. Just enjoy yourselves and if you've forgotten, then please just have a good time. Here are articles with some wonderful work:

If you're new to this then click on 'The Link System' in the menu at the top. Many reading this have been doing it a long time, each for reasons of his/her own. Others are getting exposed to it.

1. increase self-exposure
2. increase a fellow Deviant's exposure
3. discover lost art on dA
4. find potential friends



It does work. And it helps you, someone else, art and maybe even a new friendship. I encourage you to use it. The User's Manual on this page was awarded a DD by dA. They think the Link System is a good idea.
