This photograph was taken in Ireland. I got extremely philosophical about it once I got home and had a look at it!
I know at the time I wondered how much easier it would be to get to the house on the left if all the stone walls and, well, just about if everything wasn't there but green land!

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is a stunning landscape photo! The picture really stretches into the third dimension, bringing a very real and very powerful sense of depth. This is partly due to the many elements spread in layers across the image.
The house on the right stands out without being distracting, and the lake looks very imposing. The mixture of bushes and low stone walls in a field in the front contrasts with the stronger images of the lake and clouded sky in the back. The nearly square cropping seems a little odd to me, but that's just personal preference.
